About
Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is a public charter school in Fairfax County, Virginia. Since its founding in 1985, Jefferson students have won state, national and international awards and recognition. 8th graders from Fairfax County (including Fairfax and Falls Church cities) and from nearby Virginia counties of Arlington, Fauquier, Loudoun, and Prince William apply through competitive admission process. Local businesses partner with the school to provide resources as well as internship and mentoring opportunities for students.
Recently, alumni and friends of the school have founded the Jefferson Partnership Fund to raise money to support the schools labs and classrooms.
